Define the project-level need

Explain what multi-party trust, verification, asset or coordination problem the project cannot solve as effectively with conventional infrastructure.

Link tasks to deliverables

Architecture, prototype, integration, pilot, validation and replication should form a logical chain with specific outputs.

Design the pilot early

Identify users, participating organisations, data, process, environment, KPIs and acceptance criteria during proposal development.

Budget integration and governance

Blockchain rarely operates alone. Include identity, APIs, data, security, policy and partner coordination in the effort model.

Plan exploitation

State who could operate the result, who pays, what IP or service is created and how the outcome survives beyond project funding.
